NPV Content Services

NPV will provide content services and a supplier-publishing platform to enable rapid, large-scale content creation. Services include:

• Rapid creation and delivery of content to the production catalog
• Schema development & schema modification/ enhancement
• Standardization
• Identify and eliminate duplicate items
• Source additional content
• Enrich existing content
• Cross-reference multi-provider content (ie. Multi-supplier, Multi-manufacturer)

Content services can be used to build a catalog of cleansed and normalized content from multiple suppliers utilizing NPV's best-in-class content sourcing group. The catalog build, load, and update process that the NPV source group utilizes includes the following major steps:

1. Identify items and suppliers to be included in the catalog
2. Obtain source information from you, the customer, and from suppliers (via various sourcing methodologies)
3. Implement data model and catalog schema
4. Produce the catalog
     a. Standardize certain data fields where required
     b. Classify items into classification hierarchy
     c. Migrate data into schema properties
     d. Source pictures or graphics (when made available by supplier) and create electronic images as catalog attachments
5. Ongoing catalog maintenance through content services

NPV will work with you, the customer, to determine a proper time to start the maintenance (catalog update) mode. This usually starts after completion of a definitive phase of the initial catalog creation.
